photo by our dear friend Ash of We are the Parsons

husband & wife,  artists and explorers,
living & creating in the Flathead Valley of western Montana.

We chose the name Archer Messenger to reflect our desire to
capture, like an Archer and to tell, like a Messenger.

We believe well-made photographs are especially valuable.  Because when they feel like you & look like you they bring back those meaningful moments of your life – the way your little one reaches for you, or the way your lover looks at you with affection, or the joy on your face when you’re surrounded by your dearest friends.

We strive to create photos for you that help you remember & relish.

Amy grew up in a small town in northwest Montana & Chris hails from Kansas City.   Our lives intersected five years ago on a Sunday morning & the very next day we shared a happy hour pint (Amy ordered an IPA and Chris was smitten).   Three months after saying hello for the first time Chris proposed at Amy’s backyard birthday potluck surrounded by our dearest friends.

We moved our life back to Montana to live close to Amy’s roots and where Chris has fallen in love with firewood, living off the land and the woods, mountains & bald eagles.

We now live in the heart of Kalispell where we are restoring a 100-year-old bungalow and growing food in our backyard.  We love sharing meals at our farm table – likely tacos – possibly whiskey – and always good conversation.  And you’ll often find us chasing sunlight and trekking into National Parks, admiring bison and hiking trails with our husky lab Gemma.
